This website is built to learn as little about you as possible. This page explains what is processed anyway, why, and for how long. The German version is legally binding.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is the owner of GEEREN AI SYSTEMS named above. Full details are given in the legal notice. No data protection officer has been appointed because the statutory requirements for doing so are not met.

2. Principles

  • No cookies. This website sets neither its own nor third-party cookies.
  • No third-party content in your browser. Fonts, scripts and graphics are served from this domain. No videos, maps or calendars from other providers are embedded.
  • No profiling. Visitors are not recognised, not tracked across websites and not combined into profiles.
  • Form data is processed in the European Union (Frankfurt am Main region).

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is delivered via Firebase Hosting, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Whenever a page is requested, the hosting service processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system details and the referring page. This data is needed to deliver the page, fend off attacks and find errors.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functioning service).
  • Processing agreement: A data processing agreement is in place with Google. Transfers to third countries cannot be ruled out; they rely on the adequacy decision for the United States (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) and on standard contractual clauses.
  • Retention: Server logs are deleted in line with the provider’s terms.

4. Storage in your browser (localStorage)

The website stores three settings in your browser so that they persist on your next visit: the colour scheme you chose (light, dark, system), the language you chose and the “reduce animations” setting. It also stores whether you closed the notice pointing to the other language version. These values never leave your browser and contain no identifier.

  • Legal basis: Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), because storage is strictly necessary to provide the setting you explicitly chose.
  • You can delete these values at any time in your browser settings.

5. Audience measurement

This website currently uses no audience measurement tool. No usage data is collected for analysis or passed to third parties. Should this change, this policy will be updated beforehand.

6. Booking an appointment

You can arrange an initial call using the booking form. The following data is processed: name, company, role, email address, phone number (optional), your topic, an optional message, the chosen time, the page language, the time of your consent and, if present, campaign details from the link you followed (UTM parameters) and the referring website.

The purpose is to arrange and hold the call. After submitting, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after your confirmation does the appointment become binding; unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days. After confirmation, a calendar entry with a video conference link is created in the Google Calendar of GEEREN AI SYSTEMS (Google Ireland Limited, processing agreement as in section 3). You receive a confirmation by email with a calendar file and links to reschedule or cancel. These links contain a random, signed identifier, not personal data.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps at your request). Campaign details are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to understand how enquiries arise. They are only stored if you submit the form.
  • Storage location: Google Cloud Firestore, region europe-west3 (Frankfurt am Main).
  • Retention: 24 months after receipt, then automatic deletion. If an engagement follows, statutory retention periods for business records apply.

7. Contact form and email

If you send a message via the contact form or write an email, your details (name, company, email address, message, language, time, campaign details where applicable) are processed to answer your enquiry.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a possible engagement, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Storage location and retention as in section 6.

8. Sending emails

Confirmations and notifications are sent via the GEEREN AI SYSTEMS mailbox at IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.

9. Abuse protection

Forms are protected against automated submissions without tracking: by a field that is invisible to humans, a minimum time to complete and a limit on requests per sender. For the limit, the IP address is hashed with a secret value and stored for no longer than 24 hours. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to the email address in the legal notice is sufficient.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.

11. Changes

This policy is updated when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
